About Sarah

A life painted in water

Sarah Atalah Perrot, Chilean watercolor artist, in her Santiago studio

Sarah Atalah Perrot — Industrial Engineer and Visual Artist specialized in watercolor.

I chose watercolor for its challenge and for its capacity to combine transparency and fluidity with drawing, creating expressive works full of life. Through them I seek to interpret reality and capture different emotions: the joy and innocence of children, the tenderness and fragility of animals, the expression of people, and the essence and representativeness of each ethnicity and culture.

I'm also interested in capturing visual effects such as the transparency of glass, light and water, as well as the realism of everyday objects. My way of painting is constantly evolving, exploring new combinations of color, textures and perspectives.

I have deepened my technique through courses and workshops with renowned artists such as Césc Farré, Pito Campos and Paulina Werth, among others.
